DRAMATIC WORSHIP EXPERIENCE

This was our most recent offering to the community - for anyone who didn't have a church or others who's churches didn't have a Good Friday worship service.  

It was a really moving experience involving Scripture, narration, compelling music, drama and video (including clips from the movie, The Passion of the Christ) - all focused on helping the worshipper experience the extent Jesus' sacrifice on our behalf.  Many people were impacted, experiencing the life-changing EXTREME LOVE of God as they journeyed to the cross on Friday, and thereby also made their Easter Sunday celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, more meaningful than ever before!

Saturday mornings, January 22 & February 19, 2011 - Set up outside of Walmart in Mooresville, where we handed out free cups of Hot Chocolate, coffee, and donuts - just because!  We want to be known as a church that gives to the community, as we Serve the World with the Hope of Christ!  

We did this also last year.  Many people appreciated it and were surprised that we wouldn't take a church donation.  We pray that God will grow the seeds of His love and the Gospel that were planted. 

On-going Serving at The Christian Mission's FOOD PANTRY

Teams of 2 serve on TUESDAYS 

10 a.m.–1 p.m.  OR  1–4 p.m.

Those who serve are blessed as they help people in need.

Had a great turnout - approximately 500 adults and children came through the Fun Fair.  Also, over 80 bags of food was collected for The Christian Mission's food pantry.

Event was held to serve the community, particularly the clients of The Christian Mission and The Soup Kitchen, and to raise awareness in the community about The Christian Mission's ministry and the need to support them.

OPENING WORSHIP SERVICE!

Also had:    - Hot-dog lunch        - Bounce rides                        - Crafts & games       - Easter Egg hunt 

Had a great turnout - 60 kids for the Easter Egg Hunt, bounce rides, and crafts.  About 120-150 people overall.

Event was held to continue to introduce us as a church that wants to serve the community!
