How to Get Connected

If you’re somewhat involved already in New Hope Missions Church – perhaps you’ve been participating in one or more Community Service Events with us, attended one of our "Taste of Hope" Informational Fellowship Events, met and talked with Pastor Pete and even several members – but you just don’t feel connected yet, then joining a Bible Discussion small group is what you’ve been waiting for!

Currently, one is meeting at our facility, the Lake Norman Dance Gallery on Tuesday nights.  Others will be forming in someone’s home.  Either way, there is no better way to get connected – both to others at New Hope, and to God, than to meet weekly with other Christians, around God’s Word. If you do, you will finally feel like you belong and before you know it, a long-standing, caring and mutually supportive relationship between you and this small group of people at New Hope Missions Church will have begun - and you’ll wonder why this secret to the benefits of community were kept from you for so long.

This small group will become your primary source of Spiritual Care – both from the small group leader and, especially in more mature groups, from each and every member of the group. Spiritual Care is also available from the Pastor, for critical situations, but over time you will find that you seek it, more and more, first from those who you meet with so regularly and with whom you have already been sharing so much of your life, and theirs with you.

Eventually, we’ll have the various groups listed on this website, but for now, contact our small group & Bible Discussion coordinator, Cathy Varvaris, at cvarvaris@adelphia.net or 704-873-7326, for meeting times and places.
