Regular weekly worship will begin when we have enough people interested in New Hope Missions Church to support worship, but in the meantime there’s lots that we’ll be doing, and lots of ways you can help – click on “How to Become Involved” for starters.

When it does begin, Worship at New Hope Missions Church will be Relational, Relevant, Connective. We believe that “worship” is the means by which we encounter God corporately, and one of the primary ways that we individually connect with Him. In worship we both give and receive. We give God the praise and thanks He so deserves, and He gives us His grace and forgiveness, and increases His presence in our lives.

The format of worship at New Hope Missions Church will be designed to facilitate that encounter with God and increase our relationship with Him. It is our intent for worship to be a vehicle by which God’s presence is brought to people, and people are brought into God’s presence. When we encounter God in that way, we are blessed with His love, shelter, strength, comfort, peace, and joy, and are empowered for service to others in His Name.

For this to happen, worship also needs to be relevant to our lives. Throughout history, God has always encountered His people in real places, at real times, right in the middle of real lives. That’s one of the most beautiful things about God – HE comes to meet us where we are!

Consequently, worship at New Hope will be relational, relevant to our lives, and will strive to help us connect with God and His invigorating presence in us. The music will integrate with the theme for each particular worship service, and the style will be contemporary, while including Scripture readings, confession & forgiveness, statement of faith, and Communion (The Lord’s Supper) frequently, in addition to the music and relevant message from our Pastor. Since “contemporary” can mean so many different things today, you’ll just need to come and see for yourself, if Worship at New Hope Missions Church is relational, relevant, and connective for your encounter with God.
